1. Choose a flexible measuring tape that can easily encircle your dog's neck. Opting for flexibility ensures your dog's comfort and leads to precise measurements.
2. Position the measuring tape around your dog's neck, circling it around the widest part, just beneath the jawline. Be sure it's snug but not too tight, allowing your dog to breathe comfortably.
3. Check the measurement by ensuring the measuring tape lays flat and reading the measurement where it meets the end. This measurement indicates your dog's neck circumference.
